Hanna Riemel MA

Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in therapeutic work with adults and older adolescents, which has been gained in the Department of Psychosomatics and Psychiatry of the Ludwik Rydygier Hospital in Krakow – Nowa Huta and later in mental health centre and private office in Krakow.

Hanna is a graduate of psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Jagiellonian University and she has also completed the training in psychoterapy in the Psychodynamic Centre in Krakow. Consequently, she works in line with the psychoanalytical trend where both past individual experience of a patient and the relation or phenomena between the therapist and the patient in the office itself, as well as the current patients life experiences are equally important.

She conducts therapy in the case of both minor environmental obstacles and long-term problems (like personality disorders and chronic mood disorders), and she also works with patients on pharmacotherapy.

Privately, she is the lover of literature (ocassionally also TV series) and Iyengar yoga.
