Aleksandra Gorostowicz MD

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Jagiellonian University Medical College (graduation with honors). Currently she is during specialist training in adult psychiatry at the Clinical Department of Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University Hospital in Cracow, where she has gained professional experience consulting and treating inpatients and outpatients. She is during 4-year postgraduate studies in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy. Involved in scientific work – she is a student of PhD studies at the Faculty of Medicine Jagiellonian University Medical College, co-author of scientific publications. She also teaches psychiatry courses to medical students. Systematically broadens her medical knowledge i.a. through participation in scientific conferences. She is a member of the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy. Her professional interests include psychopharmacotherapy, mood disorderes, issues related to the diversity of sexual orientation. She consults adult patients, also in English.
